Exeter Ladies Riding High
EXETER RIDING HIGH in women's Div 2 after completing two more wins at Marlborough Girls' College over Mid Sussex Marlins Water Polo Team 9-4 and City of Bristol Water Polo 11-7 this weekend, securing a spot in Champ 1.
Head Coach, Kamz Powell, was delighted with his team’s performances so far: “We are delighted to have qualified for Champ 1 with a weekend to spare.
We have several juniors playing a more prominent role in the team this season following injury to our Exeter City Water Polo & Swimming Club captain, Amy Potter, and the team have adapted so well.
We’re looking forward to using the final weekend in Liverpool to refine ourselves tactically ahead of what I’m sure will be a competitive Phase 2!”
