U13's - Four wins - Happy Team!

 

Our U13 team recently attended the Devon league tournament hosted by Newton at the outdoor Kingsteignton Pool (Thanks to Sophie and the coaching team @ Newton for a great tournament).

 

Our team produced some great team performances, working for each other and coming away with four out of four wins to keep them on top of the league table.

 

But you know what… Junior water polo is not always about competing, the most important thing is the kids enjoy it, have fun, create great team spirit, have a giggle, make new friends, catch up with their mates, and now and then pull a funny face for the camera (Marley 🤣).

 

We forgot to take a team photo but captured these fab photos instead, which summed up our day. Great to see happy kids in between the matches.

 

Our player of the match went to Jenson for his massive and continuous work rate, fantastic team spirit, passion, and scoring crucial goals at crucial times.

 

The most improved player award went to Alfie, especially for his two perfect 1v0 goals…swimming in on goal, picking up high, LOOKING, working the keeper and shooting well.
