U13 Devon League Tournament at SSP

 

With their new sponsored team kit, our U13 team continued into the second Devon League tournament of the year, gaining three big wins and a draw to remain undefeated this season.

 

Finding themselves 2-0 down vs Paignton, our team found great composure, with a crucial first-period goal from Jenson Rowe and two powerful second-period goals for Marley Hurst to pull the game back and end level. What a game!

 

We had 20 kids playing in this tournament, 13 of the older players for Exeter and 7 of our younger players for a joint Taunton / Exeter team, with eight players making their Devon League debut. All did great!

 

For the older players, Player of the Tournament went to Freddie Beacham, and most improved to Alfie Hill.

 

For the younger players, Player of the Tournament went to Evelyn Walker, and most improved to William Goodwin.
